QYKZOO Australia

sunset glows purple
clouds streaked across the sky
birds flying directionless

cloudless cold day
southerly wind chills the planet
people sweat inside homes

Morning dew glistens
Soldiers march in slow formations
Fireflies retire the day

cloudless sky shimmering
trees gathered by the creek waiting
mountain peak white splendour

night of cold moonlight
meadow flowers dancing in the breeze
cattle chew cud noisily

the road winds away
black asphalt reflects the clouds
distant airplane flys away

lizard silently watching
red dust puffs in the wind gust
water walker glides away

rain falls silently down
gray thunderstorms rage distantly
butterflies hide under leaves

Green tree frog sits
Lazy sirocco moon shines brightly
butterflies wander alone

unrelenting sun
dried creek bed stones baked dry
frill neck lizard alert

volcanic fire rain
whole sky burns brighter red
waterfall steams over

new clouds fluffy white
sun tries to peek through gently
creeks prepare for rain
